 As part one of the monster Coachella music festival came to a close, fans were pleasantly surprised when the godfathers of hip-hop took the stage. Raekwon introduced the act by saying, "no disrespect to none of y'all, but we came to steal this shit tonight." They succeeded. Check out this video of the Clan performing their classic, "C.R.E.A.M." below.

 If it seems like Kendrick Lamar is taking over the hip-hop scene these days, it's probably because he is. In 2013 we've covered the 25 year-old quite a few times-- he loves our Rocksmith Peace Love & Harmony snapback. Now the Compton emcee has landed the cover of Vibe's 2012 "Big List" issue, where he's hailed as "the new god MC."  Sweethearts Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose-- who welcomed a baby boy this year-- released a "throw back Thursday" pic on Amber's Instagram account.  Young emcee Dizzy Wright, one of our SXSW performers, recently teamed up with fellow freshman Joey Bada$$ for the smooth-meet-jazzy "Maintain," showcasing his quick skills and lyrics that fall on the deeper end.
